Eileen vs. Irene

Want your opinions. I LOVE the spelling of Eileen but think Irene sounds better. I think I’ll probably go with Eirene or Eireen but really wanted to know what you thought. Thank you!

I agree that Irene is the nicer name but please DO NOT change the spelling. It doesn’t work. Irene is fine as it is.

If you like Irene I would spell it Irene. Still it’s up to you, and in this day and age I don’t think different spellings matter too much. I knew a Jessica with this spelling: Jesyka.

Thanks guys. I understand why you don’t like the spelling changed. I completely agree with something like Jesyka (although it does look Star Wars-y ;) ). I reeeally love the spelling of Eileen though...
