Brynlee vs. Brinley vs. Brenley

I am expecting a girl. I have been struggling with a uncommon but not outrageous name... Today a woman and her daughter came into my work, I heard her call her daughter " Brynlee" And I fell inlove with it. Although, I do not know at all how to spell it. Do you happen to know the traditional spelling? I’m not sure if one above is the traditional spelling because I am not sure how to spell it... any suggestions would be great, ALSO middle name suggestions!

It is a modern invented name so technically there is no traditional spelling. However I think Brinley looks the most natural and is easiest to spell and pronounce.

It’s a made-up name so there isn’t a traditional spelling. Brynlee is ranked at #269 and Brinley is #504. I’m not a fan of the name because it’s too trendy for me, but if I had to choose I like the Brynlee spelling.

That’s what I was thinking too! Thanks.
Does anyone have any middle name suggestions for Miss Brinley?

there is no traditional spelling for a name that is the opposite of traditional. sorry.

Brinley is the most straightforward, the least teen-mom-ish, and most likely to be guessed right, I think.

I have seen it spelled several different ways: Brynlee, Brinley, Brynley, Brynlie

Brinley and Brenley look more like last names than first names. No offense, but Brynlee looks somewhat sloppy and misspelled. Have you considered Bryn as a first name and Leah as a middle name? Or even a double first name Bryn Leah? It looks so much more classy.

I think Brynlee is the best spelling, that way you can call her Bryn for short as opposed to Bren or Brin from the spellings Brinkley, Brenley ect.

It isn’t a made up name. It’s comes from the surname Brindley, the D is silent. People just became creative with the spelling. The most common way that I’ve seen it spelled is Brinley.

I live in Utah and this name is extremely popular! There are so many little girls named Brinley you can’t believe it.

My favorite spelling is Brynlee and I think it’s a cute name. GL

I would say Brynlee/Brinley differently than I would Brenley. So I’d decide which pronunciation you want first, because Brin and Bren don’t make the same sound. Similar sounds, but not the same. I personally don’t like the name, it’s too trendy, but I do prefer Brinley. I think it looks the cleanest and most traditional.
