Genevieve is our second daughter’s name, and we pronounce it jenna-vee-vh. I think Evie just comes from looking at the name, not the actual pronunciation. We call our daughter Gen but I really like Vee or Vivi. GL!

Since Genevieve is such a long name (and really beautiful), I would use a shorter name to compliment it. Genevieve Hope, Genevieve Celeste, Genevieve Claire, and Genevieve Rose are pretty. Evie Claire and Evie Rose are SO cute!

I didn’t mention this, but Claire, and now Rose are my favorites. Maybe I’m partial to Rose because of the 12 Dancing Princesses, Genevieve’s favorite flower is Rose. They both flow really nicely, but the VR sound clash just a bit, and the V.CL sound doesn’t. Good luck!

I guess Foster is a family name because her sister’s name is Katherine Caroline Foster Bone. I feel like if you are going to have a long middle name like Florence you kinda need to have another middle name. Pick a middle name that just flows. It also has to sound good with your last name.

As for her nickname, call her what comes natural. I would Say Evie like stevie makes sense but I never really liked that nickname. I call the Genevieve I know Vivi, it’s cute or Gen. Sometimes I just shorten Vivi to Viv (like vee-v) Or if you could even call her by her middle name. Like I said, whatever comes naturally.
