Macy vs. Macey vs. Macie

Which spelling of "Macy" do you prefer? Do you like this name? Our last name ends in a "Y" so I think that the Macie spelling will look best. What do you think? Please comment/leave suggestions! Any other "M" names for a little girl will also be appreciated. Thanks so much in advance!!!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE the name Macie.
It’s on the top of my girl list, I like the spelling Macey & Macie. I’m leaning towards Macie though.
We have Macey Elizabeth & Macie Donna on our list.

Macy is the prettiest way to spell it in my opinion, and one of my friends name is Maci- spelled like that, it’s just another option. Out of yours Macy is my favorite.
It doesn’t matter if your last name ends in a Y, it’ll still sound the same.

I don’t think that Macy would sound good with your last name, I would spell it Macy. I think it’s very trendy plus it’s also a department store.

I understand that all of the spellings "sound" the same, but I also care about the way it looks on paper. To me, with our last name, the Macie spelling looks best. I like Macie Brooke, Macie Alexis, Macie Kate, Macy Jolie, Macie Cameron so far from your lists.

I would keep Macie just like this, the extra Y makes the name look too funny for my taste. I understand where you’re coming from on look.

But just definitely DONT spell it Macee, it looks a little odd and I don’t know if I would pronounce it Macee on the first try.

Macie Brooke and Macie Camerone I think have a really pretty flow.

We have a Macie Victoria, but we used a middle name beginning with a "V" for the simple reason that her initials would be MVP...my husband is a big jock. It ended up flowing well and sounding pretty, but it wasn’t my first choice. Obviously I like Macie, and my favorite middle name you have picked is Brooke. I love that name! Good luck!!!
