Marnie/Marni IS a full name...if you feel like you need something more substantial, go ahead, but Marni definitely can stand on its own.

I think it’s fine as a full name, but I would prefer it as a nickname.

It depends on how you spell it. The Hebrew name Marni (= rejoice) is a name in its own right.

Spelled Marnie, it’s traditionally a nickname for Marina. But the poster above has a terrific list of other full name options.

I wouldn’t use Marnie on its own. But I would use Marni on its own. Reason? Meaning and historic usage. Good luck! :0)

I agree with FredaCat.
Marni or any of those great suggestions. Of those suggestions I like Marina, Marin, Amarantha, Marian, Marilyn, Marcheline, and if I may Marlena/Marlaina.

I forgot to mention that I do think Marni can stand on it’s own.
