Aaralyn is the actual spelling of a name with this pronunciation. It’s an English name meaning "beautiful melody, song". Definitely use the spelling Aaralyn. Erilynn and Aaerolin aren’t pretty and Arralyn would constantly be pronounced AR-ah-lynn instead of AIR-ah-lynn.

I love this name, but I have to agree on an easier spelled version. Aralyn or Aralynn seem the most "fool proof" in my opinion. GL!

What do y’all think of Aarolyn? It looks like a feminine version of Aaron.

I’m so happy to see this name for a 2nd time lately. The 1st time i mentioned it, it wasnt very encouraging to see so many bad comments. My name is Lynn and my husband is a musician. So when we found this name a few months ago (Aaralyn) we knew it was for our little girl, spelled Aralynn. Due anyday!!! :)

You’re right about Aralyn not having a meaning. However, if you said that it was a combination of Aaron and Lynn it would mean "exalted lake". Aaron is hebrew and means "exalted", and Lynn is derived from the Welsh llyn "lake".
To all the people saying it means "beautiful melody," check your sources :) The only way it could mean that is if it was a combination of Aria and Linda (which it’s not).
Good luck, and to the other lady, beautiful name!!!

You can look on "ourbabynamer.com", "thenamemeaning.com", and "whatisthemeaningofname.com". All three of those will tell you the meaning and orogin of the name Aaralyn. Other websites will tell that it either means "in song" or "created name". But the majority of what I have seen has been "beautiful melody, song" or "in song". I would definitely go with Aaralyn.

^^^^^Check for true sources, so that you don’t do this, guys!!!
Listen, I am so sorry to be the one to tell you this, but those are inaccurate naming sites. Some of the information on them might be true, but I tested all three of them, and they give fake meanings for names that they like. So if a pretty name has an unpretty meaning; they’ll just "change" the meaning. I’m sorry, but they are not real naming sites. If you need a real naming baby site use behindthename.com. They actually research their info to make sure that it is historically and etymologically accurate.
Thank you for your time, and your comment :)

The actual meaning of Aaralyn is "beautiful melody, song". We found it in 4 different baby name books when we were looking for names for our little girl. Baby name books are usually really good sources as well! It is so much prettier than Erilynn, Arralyn, and Aaerolin in my opinion.

Despite it’s spelling, Aaralyn is actually a combination of Aria and Linda, not Aaron and Lynn. That’s why it’s meaning is "beautiful melody".

Oh my gosh, do you not understand? It can mean "beautiful song" IF it is a combination of Aria & Linda!!! But most people don’t see it taht way. Most people see it as a combo of Aaron and Lynn, or Erin and Lynn, in which case it has a different meaning. To find the true meaning you HAVE TO get down into the etymological factors of the name. Don’t believe everything you read!!!

My 17 year old daughter’s name is Aaralyn, I did research it when we picked it out because my MIL said the same thing you are. If you can’t believe everything you read the do we really knkw which is true and which is not? Either way, whether Aaralyn is a real name with a real meaning and what I RESEARCHED about it 17 years ago is true or not, it still looks so much better than Erilynn, Arralyn and especially Aaerolin.

If it’s a combo of Erin and Lynn (maybe Erilyn!), the meaning is "Ireland’s Lake" (which I think is pretty cute!).
Erin is the English Anglicized form of Eireann, which is the genetive case of Gaelic Eire, meaning Ireland.
Lynn is from an English surname which was derived from Welsh llyn, meaning lake.

If it’s a combo of Aria and Linda (maybe Arilin!), the meaning is "beautiful air", or "soft melody", (which I think is pretty interesting)
Aria means "song" or "melody" in Italian(literally means "air"). Aria is an elaborate vocal solo.
Linda is a medieval short form of Germanic containing the element linde meaning "soft, tender". It also coincides with with the Spanish and Portuguese word linda meaning "beautiful".
