What about Julian ? I like this spelling better than julien or Alex

It’s from the the 2nd movie and is pronounced al-a-Kay. Personally not a fan, use it for a dog.

(Al-uh-kay) it was Alex the lions name as a cub. When he is taken away honestly me and my sister cryed it might have been the second movie or something but I remember it was Madagascar

It was never mentioned in the first movie, only in the second. I personally don’t like it, and I don’t think you should use it.

I love it and think you should name your child whatever you are comfortable with and love. There are a lot of children out there with "weird" names and most of them are great full that their parents didn’t give them common names. I say go for it but that’s just me.

You are not alone. When I watched Madagascar 2 I fell in love with that name. Now its 2018 I'm 30 weeks pregnant with my first child and I'm giving him this name but spelled Alakae. The name is unique. I know you were probably tired of common names. I googled the meaning and fell in love even more. But people do look at me crazy when I tell them where I got the name from. Oh well. It beats heathens naming their kids bible names and they act like demons. Or calling my son jr or some other common name. Do we really have to be rich to name our kids uncommon names. I wanna know did you give your baby that name tho. I would be so happy if you did.

I'm 13 Nd it's my actual name I didn't get it from they're though my name is pronounced the same it's spelled alake it's heartbreaking how you guys don't like my name and think it should be used for a dog but that's ok :)
