Jacobi vs. Jacoby vs. Jacobe
At first I strongly disliked this name, it was hubbys suggestion, however over the last two months it has really really grown on me, however im still not 100% so looking for some input, initially my ideas were between James and Isaac, but now im not sure if they are too popular and dated. Which spelling is best for this name? What are your thoughts on the name? And is Jake or Coby the better nickname? Thank you in advance!

I would spell it Jacobi. Love James and Isaac both handsome names that are not dated but they are popular. I prefer Jacob but Jacobi is a nice name. Either nick name would work.

Spell it the correct way, which is Jacoby. Jacobi looks girly and Jacobe would get mispronounced (juh-cobe instead of juh-co-bee).

A couple thoughts for you...
1.) You want to use Jacoby because you feel James and Isaac are popular. If you call Jacoby, Jake that is no different than James or Isaac.
2.)Jacoby is the Biblcial name Jacob with a y at the end, so again, if popularity is your concern, you’ve chosen a version of Jacob.
3.)Names are popular for a reason. They are good, strong solid names. There is nothing wrong with James, Isaac or Jacob.

Jacoby is the proper spelling and the only one I would use. Jacobi and Jacobe could have pronunciation mistakes (I seem to pronounce Jacobi as Jacob-ee, and Jacobe as Ja-cobe).
Jacoby Isaac is really handsome!
And I would probably use Coby as a nickname but that really depends on the personality of the baby?

I’d say... Jacoby Isaac. What if you tried Jakobi, Jakoby or Jakobe (my personal favorite.)?
