Karla vs. Carla

Which spelling is better in your opinion? My husband is of Hispanic descent and he really likes this name a lot. I prefer the Karla spelling, as it is more Spanish in my opinion, but he likes Carla.(Big sisters are Anahi and Izabellah.

really? I would have assumed Carla was the Spanish spelling. I like Carla better since the C is shaped is softer-looking compared to the angular K. I think the C spelling is also more standard so you’d have to correct people less often. But with Anahi (a name I’ve never heard) and Izabellah spelled this way, you are probably already experienced in this realm and can decide if you want more explaining to do or not.

I prefer Carla because to me Karla seems like the wrong spelling, but I could be wrong. GL!

C is more Spanish k is not popular in Spanish at all!!!

My family is Spanish. My mother is spelled Karla, most people I heard like her name. Spelling is a bit uncommon.

Bruh im reading the comments and no one really likes the name karla which is my name...they put that name because my dad is named carlos and he thinks that the coolets letter of the alfhabet is the K... it really has nothing to do with the counrty.

Depending on region Karla definitely can be the "spanish" spelling. It's much more common throughout Central America
