How would you pronounce Kael vs. Kale(like the vegetable) vs. Ky-ell
I ran across the boy name Kael the other day and I immediately feel in love with the meaning " little warrior". We have almost lost this pregnancy twice so I truly believe our son is a fighter. I have read most people pronounce it like kale(vegetable) but I’d like to know how you’d pronounce it. William or Michael will be his middle name.

I’d probably pronounce it kale like the vegetable. I understand you like the meaning of Kael but the name’s sweet meaning isn’t going to matter when the name is getting butchered right and left when he’s older. Most people won’t spell it properly and he’ll always be correcting people. The fact that you had to ask about pronunciation should raise red flags. I’m not trying to be offensive, just giving candid advice.

I really like Kael William.
Gael is guy-ell so it only makes sense that Kael would be ky-ell but I’m not sure how many people would know that or if that’s even the pronunciation you want. (that’s how I like it and I’m assuming that’s what you’re going for?)
You probably will get the majority saying it like the vegetable though so unfortunately this might be a name you don’t use if you don’t want to be correcting people all the time.

Actually Kael is not the same as Kale. It’s pronounced the same but it’s a name on it’s own with a completely different origin and meaning. Please, don’t call something "incorrect" when it’s not.
