Baby Name Poll

Hello everyone. We are hoping that some of you can help us with spelling our daughters name. My husband is Israeli and I am French, however, we live in the USA (Albany, NY) and she will be an American citizen and probably live here for most of her childhood. We wish to give our daughter a name common to both our cultures, pronounce close to lay-ah but can’t decide how to spell in in America. In France, we spell it Léa, but accents are not used here, and in Israel it is usually transliterated Leah, but both Leah and Lea seem to be pronounced exclusively as lee-ah. We’re unsure about Leia as we do not want to take an name that is important to us and our families and make it look like we only love Star Wars! If any of you can help us with this dilema, we will be greatful! Which spelling do you think works the best or do you have another suggestion?
