Hi there, expecting my second daughter and we wanted to give her a middle name after my brother Griffin. However, we do want a more feminine form. Thoughts?

I don’t think there are any female forms of Griffin. What’s his middle name? Having her middle name be a feminine form of his middle name could be cool.

You could go with Griffonia. It’s not technically a form of Griffin but it’s a real word. It’s the name of an African plant that is used as an herbal remedy for relieving anxiety and helping people sleep.

I like Griffin as the middle name. Could also use Finn as the middle name since its part of the name.

Griffyn? Or Griffinne? Maybe it would be best as a middle name; it might be hard to pull off as a first name. Or maybe you could just give her the same first and middle initials as your brother.

Thanks everyone! His middle name is Thomas and we were struggling with a feminine form of that as well... I love Fia, Fiona, and Gray, will probably use one of those! (First name will be Ruby or Lily, in case anyone was wondering.)

I persanaly think Gryffin wold be a cute middle name for a girl. My middle name is Lee and is. Masculine name and it I on of the most common middl name for females and males. I'm shor the same could go with Gryffin. In my opinion I like masculine names for girls because it more ginder neutral and masculine names for girls I think is just cute. But to be save I would just go with Sophie.
