Don't know if you care wither way, but here is a little history on each spelling. "Aidan" is the anglicized form of the Irish/Scottish name Aodhán. (Which in turn was derived from the old Irish name Áedán.) "Aiden" and "Ayden" are both modern spellings of the name Aidan. Lol, just in case you wanted a history lesson today!

Teri I would never associate this name with a girl. Never. I just know that that is a spelling for this name in my boy naming book. But I do see how some would try to use it for a girl and use that spelling because some how a Y makes it look girly. I do thank you though.

Lop. I don't agree that it's the correct spelling. It's kinda like the name Katherine. Catherine/Kathryn are still just as correct. But maybe that's just my way of thinking. But thank you.
