Sound:
Cole, Coleman (var. of Malcolm*), Callum (var. of Malcolm*), Chlothar (old form of Lothar), Clovis, Niccolo or Carlo
Meaning (young, green shoot):
Irving -- green water
Odhrán / Orrin -- little green one, Gaelic
Cyrus -- young
Aegidius / Egidius / Giles -- young goat (how cute is that?)
Vesa -- sprout, young tree (Finnish)
Ankur -- sapling, sprout (Sanskrit / Hindi)
Pallav -- budding leaf (Sanskrit / Hindi)
Orson -- bear cub, from Latin "ursa"
Kfir -- lion cub (Hebrew)
Marduk -- calf of Utu (Near Eastern mythology), nn Duke?
Benjamin -- son of my right hand
Leif -- ("layf") heir
Kevin -- gentle birth
Eugene -- well born, some think Owen is Welsh form of Greek Eugene
Bowen -- son of Owen
René -- male form of Renée, = reborn
Good luck! :0)
* Malcolm means follower of Columba which itself means dove (i.e., peace). There's an unrelated Gaelic name, Cailean, which means whelp / young dog. Cailean is sometimes used as a variant of Malcolm / Callum. Not very direct, but it ties the two categories together.

Khloros
Chloe means green, the same as in Chlorophyll (the green stuff in plants.)
Chloe/Chloris - Latinized form of Greek Khloros "pale green".
