Tallulah vs. Talula vs. Tallula

We picked a name for our daughter but can't decide how to spell it. I like Tallulah and he likes Talula, Tallula seems to be in the middle but we're both pretty stubborn.;) Thank you for your help!!

I think you should research what spellings have been used. It looks to me like Tallula might be an Irish spelling. I like it. I tend to like leaving the h off in names like Sarah. Great name! GL

Tallulah & Talulla are both traditional ways of spelling the name.

Pretty name either way.

Tallulah is how the Native American name is spelled. Talulla is Irish. Anything else is alphabet soup to me.

The easiest one / most common is Tallulah. Quirky and fun. Nn Lula / Lulu? Good luck! :0)

It has Native American origins, found in both Choctaw and Creek. In both, it is spelled Tallulah, meaning 'leaping waters.' I think it's lovely, has a lovely meaning, and a lovely spelling. The Tallula spelling is of Celtic origin and means 'princess'. The imagery of leaping waters is so much more appealing!
