First name Zack vs. Zack Middle name

After some thinking, we've decided to just use Zack as a name. Zachary doesn't really flow well with our last name, and Zachariah isn't growing on us like we thought it would. Should we use Zack as our sons first or middle name? Most of the names we've previously picked were shorter due to Zachariah being so long, so we need suggestions once again.

If you love Zack, use it as his first name. It is likely that even if you used a full name, he'd always go by Zack, so name him what he's going to be called. I would just like to mention that I prefer the spelling Zach. Seems more of a full name rather than a nickname.

Use it as a first name. I agree with the first poster that the ZACH spelling seems better.

Zack Alexander Perry
Zack Tyler Perry (may not like that one because of the actor/writer Tyler Perry)
Zack Vincent Perry
Zack Lawrence Perry
Zack Robert Perry

I do know someone whose full name is Eli and all the time he gets what does it stand for. Not a big deal, but he does say it gets old to respond.

We have considered Isaac, but like Zachariah, it didn't grow on us. My husband hates the spelling Zach, so it's definitely going to be Zack. Zac looks incomplete to us and Zak or Zakk looks odd.

Zack is fine. In fact I think with that spelling you might get fewer people assuming it's short for Zachary, though inevitably you will get some of that. Zack is a great first name and I think you'll have an easier time finding Zack MN Perry than FN Zack Perry.
