Atara vs. Atarah vs. Other Name Meaning Crown

Hello. Looking for name to honor the Christian martyr Stephen (Steven) but don't like Stephanie. Atara/Atarah means crown like Stephen and I thought that might work. With or without the "h" or other names meaning crown?

Variant Adara feels more usable than Atara(h).

Laurels were used as symbols of victory / honor. That's why they were used as "crowns." So you get Laura, Laurel, Lauren, Loretta, Lorena, Laurentia ("lor-REN-shuh") and Laurentine ("-teen"). Will come back if I can find any others. Good luck! :0)

Oops. Adara means noble, not crown. Sorry. :0/

I found Kelila (Hebrew) and Kreine (Yiddish), both meaning "crown." :0)
