Mila vs. Alternate spelling
I love the name Mila (prounounced mEE-la) for our baby girl; however, my husband doesn't like the spelling. Are there any alternate ways to spell this beautiful name without it looking weird? Thanks!

I don't really think so. I know the trend is replace the I with a y but in that case I think Myla would be pronounced my-luh. And I think Mela looks odd.

I know a little girl who spells it Meela, but I much prefer the spelling Mila.

My name is Mila too! Sometimes it is pronounce myla but I think Meela looks dated. Mila is the best choice imo

Honestly in this day and age spell it how you want and pronounce it how you want my whole thing is keeping a pattern of Ys in the first and middle name so I have landyn mykle, sevyn jaymez, and I like the name mila so we're doing miyla qyinn yeah it may be pronounced mie-luh but with how creative and crazy people are getting with names now and days I say do what you want and go for it
