Sophie vs. Sophy vs. Sofie

Which spelling for our Sophers? Her middle name will be either Lilian/Lillian, Jaqueline/Jacqueline, Vivian/Vivienne, or Noelle. As you can see, my husband and I disagree on spellings! I prefer Sophie, he prefers Sophy, and Sofie is grandma's (Lily Sofia) favorite.

It's best to not misspell such a common name. People without fault will always spell it as Sophie if they hear it so I think spelling is wrong will cause much more problems than it's worth. Sophie Lillian would be my favorite.

Actually, my niece is named Sophie and you would be surprised how often it is misspelled. She has gotten Sophie, Sophey, Sophee, Sophi, Sofie, Sofee, Sofey, and so on. I think going with Sophie though is your best bet. Sophie Jaqueline or Sophie Noelle.
