Jacqueline vs. Jacklyn vs. Other spelling?
I love the name Jacqueline...however you want to spell it. Jacclyn, Jacklyn, but I tend to like traditional spellings the most. Jacqueline is kind of complicated and not really super nice to look at but it's correct. I don't care. I love the name and I love the nn Jackie, Jacque, Jacky, however you want to spell it. My question is would you spell it correctly or use one of the shorter made up spellings that might be easier for people to read? again I love the name and I am fine spelling it correctly. Just wanted to hear some opinions, thanks!

I am slightly biased my mom's name is Jacqueline nn Jackie. Jacklyn and all other spellings except Jacqueline look tacky to me.

I agree with you, I had some comments on one of my polls saying to spell it some crazy way. I love Jacqueline spelled this way too. My name is Kari and I have had to correct people my whole life...they always spell it Carrie.

Jaclynn!I might be biased, my BFF is Jaclynn nn Jackie, but Jaqueline is a little too frilly. Plus everyone is going to spell it wrong

I think the Jacqueline spelling looks prettiest. I pronounce it slightly differently than Jacklyn, but maybe that's just me.

I only like the Jacqueline spelling, but then I also only like the original "proper" pronounciation, which is closer to "zhack-uh-leen"

Jacqueline. Most people know how to spell and pronounce it. Also, it would probably be much nicer to say "No, it's spelled the traditional way" rather than "No, it's spelled J-A-C-C-L-Y-N-N-E".

Jacqueline rhymes with fine. Jacquelyn is the traditional spelling. Jacqueline Kennedy named her daughter Caroline, not Carolyn. Jacquelyn is the French spelling.

Just had my first baby girl Saturday night 12/09/23,
My father had just recently passed away 2.1/5 almost 3 months ago n we were really close, everyone called him Jackie so I really wanna name my first baby girl after him so I had chosen Jacquelyn but I really want the spelling to be different from the original one but easy n unique, anyone have any ideas of a different spelling or just another name that has to do with Jackie? I would love to hear it, thank u everyone in advance

My name is Jacquelyn, I've gone by Jackie, JackieLynn, JackAttack on video games lol. Almost everyone pronounces it differently. For example, some say Jack-que-lynn, Jack-lynn, Jack-uh-lynn. I will say that, as a child, it was terrible to learn how to spell it. Most of my teachers allowed me to opt for the Jackie. I also did get picked on. Jack-o-lantern. Jackie Chan. I love my name though, and how it's spelt. It's not a common spelling of it.
