Anneliese vs. Annalise vs. Annelise

Which of these spellings is most common? Like if you heard this name and had to spell it how would you do so? Any thoughts on the spellings or name in general are much welcomed! (We live in the United States if that makes any difference)

Annalise is my favorite spelling but I always see it spelled Anneliese.

The spelling Anneliese is so gorgeous! I think it looks more complete spelled this way. Wow, such a beautiful name!

Like the other posters, I think Anneliese is the prettiest spelling! But however you spell it, it's a great name!

Anneliese looks a little awkward. Annelise seems straightforward in pronunciation and looks prettier imo.

I know an Annalicia and love her name! I voted for Annalise because I like how that one looks the best. Either way, it's a beautiful name! I'm in the NYC area, if that helps. Good luck

Anneliese is gorgeous & gmv, but Annalise is the most popular spelling in the U.S., ranking in at #429. The other two spellings aren't even in the top 1000. GL!

I like this name also and have gone back and forth on it.

To me i like Annalise because i want to pronounce it: Anna-Leese

When i see Annelise or Anneliese i think: "Anne-Elise" which i don't want because hubs used to date an "Elise" haha

And while i think Anneliese is a more original spelling I feel like it will be way harder for people who don't know the original spelling to spell it correctly—and the average person (where i live) is going to stare at the name a minute before saying aloud.

I spell my name "Annalese". My mom didn't even know it was a real name when she had me (2002). She took the middle name of her mom (Anne) and the first name of her stepmom (Lisa) and made my name. We pronounce it "ann-uh-lees".
