middle name vs. for Wynn
Hi all. My husband and I are naming our daughter Wynn, and now I am looking for a perfect middle name for our Wynn. Wynn means "holy, blessed reconciliation" as well as "joy and peace", so something with a good meaning is important. I feel like we've searched through so many names and nothing has stuck. Our last name is Beckley, which is why I think nothing sounds that good. On our middle name list so far is Wynn Adela (means noble), Wynn Lucia (light) and Wynn Adaline (means noble kind). Hopefully you can give us some great options! Thanks!

You're correct about the meanings of Lucia, and Adele.
Adeline actually just means "noble," not "noble kind." Adelaide means "noble kind," but Adeline doesn't have the "heid" element that Adelaide has which means "kind." So Adeline just means "noble."
Wynn doesn't mean any of the things you said, besides possibly "blessed." Instead it is actually from the Welsh "gwyn," which means "white." Because it means "white," it also has the associations of "pure," or "blessed," since white had positive connotations, but the name itself does mean "white/fair."
A lot of baby naming sites spread false information that makes name meanings more positive, but to know the true meaning you have to study the history and etymology of the name.

At least from the research I have done on the name Wynn, "white, pure" are more common meanings, but the others are less common and we still love it. Thanks for the info though!
Not a huge fan of any of the middle names. Sorry we're picky! Thanks anyways!
I also figured that I should tell you she has a big sister named Lula Gwen, so both are off limits :)

Wynn can mean blessed/joy if you're naming her after the runic letter. It's a stretch though. As a name it means "white." Also, Wynn is the same name as Gwen so it's kinda weird to give your second daughter the same name as your first daughter.

I definitely prefer the traditional Wyn spelling, but Wynn Lucia flows beautifully. I would absolutely use Lucia.
Wynn Ophelia ("help")
Wynn Irina ("peace")
Wynn Calliope ("beautiful voice")
Wynn Francesca ("free man" or "from France")
Wynn Beatrice (also "blessed" or "she who brings happiness")

I really like Wynn Calliope and Wynn Francesca (I especially like this because my mom was actually born in France, but moved to the US when she was young). Thanks!
