How vs. To vs. Spell?
I recently stumbled upon the name Croia. I fell in love with it, but found out the actual pronunciation is Cree-ah. I thought it was Kroy-ah which is the pronunciation I like. Should I change the spelling or keep it and pronounce it Kroy-ah?

I would change the spelling. Considering it comes from the Irish word for "heart" (croĆ), it seems strange to use it and pronounce it incorrectly. Croya, maybe?

I have never heard this name before, and I would assume most haven't, depending where you live. I think it's perfectly fine to keep the spelling, as I believe most everyone would see it and pronounce it as Kroy-ah

I think Croya would be your best bet. I agree with not using an incorrect pronounciation.

If you like the sound of Cree-uh better, which imo is definitely a lot more attractive than Kroy-uh, change the spelling. You could literally just take the O out and use Cria or chabge it to Crea/Creah and it will easily get said CREE-uh because of it's similarity to the quite common names Mia and Leah

It's probably fine as is, but you could change it to Kroia if you want.

I mean I read it as Croy-ah but if it's pronounced a different way spelled Croia maybe change it to Croya to avoid confusion later

It's not really a name at all just the Irish word for heart, if you want to make up a name you can spell it how ever you like though.

This is the name of Conor McGregor's daughter. Spell CROY-ah differently, as croi is an actual Irish word that means "heart," and Croia is pronounced as CREE-ah. GL!
