Spelling vs. For vs. Wren

Hi! I need some opinions. My husband and I both LOVE the name Wren. However, my husband doesn't like the spelling. What are some alternative spellings for Wren that are not too off the wall? Thank you!

Ren is another common spelling. I actually like this spelling better than Wren. I guess Renn or Wrenn could work, but I don't really like the double N.

Renn/Ren tends to be the male spelling. Wren is really the only other one. Using an I or Y changes the pronunciation.

Another option is "Reine". It is the French word for "queen" and is pronounced like Wren.
