Cute vs. Nicknames For vs. Elaina

HI! I’m pregnant with my fourth child and third daughter. We’ve decided to name her Elaina Kate. My husband and I both love this name and it is final. He insists on coming up with a special nickname to call each of our girls, for example he calls our twins Brenna Julie, B.J. and our daughter Bridget Keira, Bee. Our son’s name is Jacob James and he calls him J.J. while everyone else calls our kids Brenna, Bridget and Jacob. It’s a special "tradition" I guess you could call it. With Elaina he can’t come up with a name he likes. Some people think its stupid but if anyone could help us come up with a cute nickname it would be a lot of help. I think it is super cute that he does that! The name Elaina Kate is really cute too! As for nicknames, I am a big fan of picking them based on the childs personality!!
But:
KT could come from Kate
and Lana from Elaina.

I knew a girl named Alaina (almost Elaina) whose family called her Nani (pronounced NON-ee). No idea why -- maybe one of her siblings called her that when she was a baby or something like that. I also knew a girl named Helena who was called Boo. It doesn’t have to have anything to do with your name.

My name is Elaina and my parents call me lulu or lu, it started as lainey-lulu but eventually as i got older it turned to lulu or just lu and they even add something to it like lu bear or lu boo occasionally
