OVE Vivienne!!!! Seems so much more cute and sophisticated than Vivian. If you love it, you should definitely go with it. I really love the Vivie spelling of the nickname you can use when you use Vivienne, as opposed to Vivi or Vivia with Vivian.

"Vie" (pronounced V/Vee) means "Life" in French so it's so sweet to have that in
Vi"vie"nne & Vi"vie"

And chances are if she ever meets another Vivian/happens to have another in her class it'll be spelled this way, so she'll still be unique. Though it's not an overused name, so changes of that are slim anyway.

I would only suggest Vivian if you specifically like the nickname Vivia. Otherwise Vivienne beats it in every way.

When I see Vivian, I see VIV-ee-eun. When I see Vivienne, I see viv-ee-EN. Not that everyone will pronounce a French name the French way, but I prefer Vivian for that reason. Vivian also looks cleaner, uncluttered, no unnecessary faff.

Vivie could easily be used for either form of the name, that is definitely not a deciding factor.

I've seen the form Vivian used for boys.

I agree with the guest that says that the two names are pronounced differently. Choose the spelling according to the pronunciation that you want to use.

Since your last name is already 8 letters I think the shorter Vivian looks nicer with it.I know it's only 2 letters but I really do think it makes a difference.
