Miles nn Milo if you really want. Milo isn't really a name I can seriously for an adult, very pet-ish (too many cats and dogs named Milo!)... though I do admire Milo Yiannopoulos lately for "coming out" as straight, a beautiful Christian soul acknowledging we're all sinners (and still loved all the same!)

These are all fantastic names! I definitely think the Milo and Miles spellings are they way to go. The 'y' spelling seems trendy. I also think that if you go with either of those, you can use the other as a nickname; Milo "Miles" or Miles "Milo".

I want to say go with Miles because it will age much better, and use Milo as a nickname when he is young. However, how can you not use Milo as his first name! It is so handsome, and he can always use Miles when he is older. Tough choice…

I also think that Miles will age better than Milo. I love the suggestion of Miles nn Milo. You could use Miles Oliver to make the Milo connection more obvious, but it is not really needed since I think Miles "Milo" makes sense on its own.

Wow, thank you everyone for the wonderful feedback. We hear what you are saying about Milo not ageing as well as Miles, and that was something we have thought about. We love the idea of Miles with the nickname Milo.

Miles Oliver, Miles Owen, Miles Orion, Miles Odin, Miles Otto or Miles Oscar would be awesome with the nn Milo. But Miles nn Milo works regardless of the O middle name and will definitely age better than Milo nn Miles.

I like Myles more with a y. Since miles is distance to me.

Although Miles is my personal favorite I do like Milo also and I see no problem with it aging well.I think Milo Ventimiglia is proof of that.
