Olivia (Liv) vs. Olyvia (Lyv) vs. Which one?
Both will have the same pronunciation - Oh-live-ee-uh. Which spelling is best? We live in Miami if that helps at all. I think Olyvia may look better and when I see Olivia written down all I can think of is Oliver. What are your thoughts?

Changing the spelling of a super popular name doesn't make it any more unique, and it's not easy for your child to live with.
she's going to have to say "Olyvia with a y" and then spell it out for people for the rest of her life.
and she'll probably have to still have to go by her name and last initial if there's more than one Olivia in her class/grade because it sounds the same, so you might as well just spell it correctly and save her the trouble.

My fav spelling is definitely: Alivia!!! Seems so much more feminine this way.

In case you add Alivia to your choices, that one is not pronounced the same. I love Olivia. Olyvia looks like a typo. And as far as someone mentioning Alivia, that is Ah-liv-vee-ah.

I like changing the spelling to some names like Ayden or Hayley but I've only seen Olivia spelled this way
