Ariah vs. Aryah vs. Aria / Arya

Hello! My husband & I are trying to keep our names to five letters. Him & I have five letters in our names and so does our son. We want our daughter to be named "Aria" but want the five letters. Please let me know what you think of these options or if you have any ideas please let me know. 😊 Thanks!

I would pronounce Ariah like 'ah-ry-ah' and Aria like 'ah-ree-ah' so I would go with the classic Aria spelling. You shouldn't limit yourself to five letters and end up with a spelling that looks made up or that you'll have to keep correcting people on.

Ariah and Aryah have two different pronunciations. Even without the H. Aria without the H is the pronunciation you are looking for. Arya without the H is Are-yah and not Aria. It became pop for a TV show (I think) as did Aria so there is no getting around it. I'd go for a different name. Makes no sense to just add an unnecessary letter to get it to five letters.

I'd pronounce Aria & Ariah the same (just like Sara & Sarah, or Hanna & Hannah, Ava & Avah). I like the spelling with the H if you need a 5 letter name. I'd stay away from the Y spellings, that's when people really wanna give you the a-rye-uh pronunciation!
And if anyone pronounces it wrong at first, it only takes one correction and they'll remember for life. No big deal at all!

There's also Aaria (like Aaron), which I'm a huge fan of and that nobody will pronounce wrong :)

I agree with Elle. I'd stay away from Ys, but other than that anything goes.

I love both Aaria & Ariah... Airia, Ayria, Aeria, Arria, Arhia and Ahria all work as well! I'd pronounce these all as Aria.

I love Aaria and Ayria for 5 letter options. Airia is also cool because it's a palindrome (spelled the same forwards and backwards like Hannah or Racecar)

I definitely think you should continue the 5 letter theme, nice for you guys to all have the connection. I'm all about that!

1) Aaria & Ayria (LOVE!!!)
2) Ariah
3) Aeria & Airia (like)

(I don't like Aryah, Ahria, Arhia or Arria)

Aaria like Aaron is a nice 5 letter spelling, Ayria and Airia would be my 2nd picks
