Hatty vs. Hattie

Short for Harriet, Hatty/Hattie is a beautiful name. Although many prefer Hetty/Hettie, it doesn't mean it is a horrible name. The spelling is the problem though. With a "y" or an "ie"? Hattie is the name. Hatty reminds me of a hat.

I've never seen it spelled Hatty before so Hattie gmv. And I agree with the above commenter^ Hatty is like a hat.

Hattie is great for Harriet! I think Hettie is more for Henrietta :)
