Zaelie vs. Zalie vs. Zelie

Which spelling do you like best? Pronouncing it 'ZAY-lee'. I did research again on Nameberry, so definitely check it out if you are interested. But, Zaelie isn't listed as a spelling on Nameberry, yet Zaelia is a legitimate name. Zalie and Zelie are both legitimate names though unsure how people would pronounce these vs the intended pronounciation I am looking for. I feel like Zaylee and Zaylie just look trendy 🤔 Thanks!

I voted for Zaelie. I just don't think the 'za' and 'ze' start will always get you the pronunciation you want. I see Zalie as 'zaah-lee' and Zelie as 'zee-lee'. Zaelie is clear without being trendy. Overall, I love Zaelia "Zalie".

Original Poster - Around here we pronounce Hailey/Bailey as 'hail-ee' or 'bail-ee' - 2 syllables. Zailey wouldn't be the correct pornounciation. It would be pronounced 'zale-lee' and I am looking for 'ZAY-lee'

Original Poster - Hmm... Zaily is interesting, but not for me. I think I am leaning towards 'ZAY-lee-uh' pronunciation most, but not a fan of the look of it spelt with an 'i' like Zailia and Zailea as they all would be pronounced with first syllable 'Zail-' and not 'Zay-' like I am looking for.
